Anacortes Ferry

Breath deep the salty air. Feel the sun and wind on your face. Hear the whoosh of water swirling in the wake of the ferry. Feel the trembling deck below your feet as the great turbines turn in the depths of the boat. Watch the great dance of sailboats great and small glide amongst the islands.

This was what it was like travelling on the Ferry from Anacortes, Washington to Sidney, British Columbia. It was a wonderful trip and I have tried to capture the spirit life all they hundreds of sailboats conveyed to me that day.
